The Passat falls apart some more.

On Sunday March 4th, I put a tank of gas in the car.
To pay the attendant I lowered the passenger side front window.
When I got back the credit card I raised the window.
It went up part way and then fell down into the door.

A new regulator (the track mechanism) was required, installed Wednesday at a total cost of $266.14

*sigh*

Hmm, not exactly the type of birthday present you'd like to be given. Hopefully with all the repairs being done of late that will be it for a while.

Ah Mark's Passat has had the same problems with both driver and passenger windows failing in the same way.

And yes it's expensive over here to get the parts as well, moreso with VAT etc. -.-
